I can’t say that I know exactly why we write, but if there is one thing that stands out for me about writers and writing, it’s that everyone has a story they want to tell. No matter how big or small, we all have a story to tell. Some may be more creative than others, some may use the same words over and over again (while some may find new ways to say something) but we all share a desire to write and share our stories with others.

Writing is like therapy: it helps us cope with experiences that we would otherwise forget entirely or perhaps never even remember at all.
